Dear partners and friends,

Receive greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is my prayer and trust that this finds you well in the Lord and pressing on to the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus.

It gives me much joy and pleasure as I acknowledge and appreciate your tremendous love, prayers, support and participation, in our just concluded conferences in Delaware (22nd, 23rd May), Atlanta (29th, 30th May) and Ohio (5th, 6th June). Great was God’s faithfulness and indeed we celebrate His deeds among us.

I also take this opportunity to thank you for your financial commitment to our Kikambala Children’s project. As I shared with you, the feeding program came about in year 2004 as a result of the drought that hit our Nation and severely affected the children and the old in Kilifi district. While responding to the need of the desperate and as I watched them stream in to our 3 day feeding and medical camp, the Lord placed in my heart a burden to offer a long lasting solution to the children thus the feeding program was born. Since year 2006, we have been feeding the children daily with one balanced diet, paying school fees for some as well as clothing them. The number of children we feed has been swelling and I strongly believe it is time to fulfill our long term goal of putting up a children’s home where we can accommodate the many orphans and destitute among them.

Just before a great Father of faith in our Nation, His Grace Archbishop Manasses Kuria went home to be with the Lord, the last words he uttered and urged us on our pulpit was that we take care of the needy as that is pure religion and undefiled unto God (James 1:27). He also said a strong prayer for all those who would respond to this noble task and what we are currently doing as a ministry is the fulfillment of those words and it gives me great joy to see hope rekindled in those children.

Your partnership for this project will therefore go a long way in uplifting the standard of life among these lovely children. Kindly note that beside your financial participation, your prayers will be very essential and I assure you of my prayers in turn. We intend to be sending updates on the project to all who will be able to partner with us and so we kindly request you to give us your full correct contacts to enable us reach you. As well, we welcome your prayer concerns through our TWEM website.

By God’s grace, I intend to be spending time with my Partners and those who desire to join the partnership at least twice in a year here in the US and I’m working on my diary to visit again in December. We will have a partners’ dinner on the 10th December 2010, then, we shall have an ordination service for Ministers Felix and Catherine on the 11th and 12th. Both are great worshippers and Minister Catherine has been a great teacher of God’s word in FEM and TWEM. We will be able to communicate to you for more details. In the meantime, I urge us to remain in prayer for the same and for each other because together we shall make it.

Finally brethren, I reiterate my deepest appreciation to you all and pray God’s best blessings on you, your family and loved ones. Till I see you again, the Lord bless and keep you, the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you, the lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace…. Amen!

In His service,
Reverend Teresia W. Kinyanjui.

In fact invite all your friends to this conference. We really want to see a great harvest of souls come to the Lord. Evangelist Teresia Wairimu and Pastor Reinhard Bonnke both have preached to millions throughout the world, and has experienced millions coming to know Jesus. We know God will use this conference to bring in the harvest of souls. You my friend can be apart of bringing souls to Jesus by inviting friends and family to hear the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The 2008 TWEM Prophetic Summit finally went down on Memorial Weekend in Dallas, Texas. The annual conference organized by the Teresia Wairimu Evangelistic Ministry (TWEM) attracted hundreds of participants from all over the world. There was a contingent of close to 60 people that travelled all the way from Nairobi, Kenya including the ministry’s top brass. There were also dozens of people from Denmark and the UK, as well as hundreds of others from different states across the U.S. The main speakers for the 4-day conference that began on 22nd May 2008 included Evangelist Teresia Wairimu, Ghanaian-born Bishop Owusu A Bernard from Denmark, Bishop Walter Smith from the U.S and Pastor Dennis and Jackie Bambino. Pastor Allan and Kathy Kiuna of JCC, Nairobi were also in attendance. Musical guests for the main conference included Carol Mbithi, Lydia Njeri, Yvonne Makilya and Lillian Odera whereas Zaidi ya Mziki perfomed at the Youth Concert.

The conference started on Thursday as participants registered for the conference all day. Later in the evening, there was a formal dinner in honor of Evangelist Wairimu who had earlier received the Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Award. The award was given by the Martin Luther King Jr Africa Foundation for her humanitarian efforts during the post-election violence as well as her vocal campaign among church leaders. Read more about the award. Radio personality Tina Nzuki was the MC of the night and wasted no time in cracking up the guests with her humorous anecdotes as she led the program for the night. (Want to know more about Tina? Check out an interview we had with her early last year at Hot96).

Yvonne Makilya and Carol Mbithi entertained the guests as DJ Fresh played a mix of music during the African-theme evening. Producer FJ and his band as well as the praise and worship team ensured the guests got some spiritual nourishment too. There was also an all-you-can-eat buffet and the event ended a few minutes to 1am as guests got a rare chance to chat and get autographs / take pictures with Evangelist Wairimu.

Friday and Saturday had basically a similar structure with conference teachings by the main speakers. There were morning sessions from 8-10am, then a mid-morning session from 10:30am – 12:30pm and an afternoon session from 2-4pm. The speakers, who were in rotation during these sessions engaged guests in some powerful teachings. Where as these sessions were held at the Dallas – Addison Marriott Hotel, the evening sessions were held at the ultra-modern St John Baptist Church.

There was a special Youth Concert on Saturday night at the St John Baptist’s Gymnasium. The event kicked off at 7pm with DJ Mixes from DJ Fresh and Badilika DJ’s frontman DJ Jey, who had travelled with Zaidi ya Mziki from Kenya. ZYM’s Lena was the MC for the night where as Radio presenter Tina Nzuki shared the word. There were performances from the Kansas Dance Team and the night’s special guests, Zaidi ya Mziki, who started their second U.S summer tour that evening.

On Sunday morning, most guests went to T.D Jakes’ Potter’s House Church for the morning service as the rest held an impromtu service at the hotel. In the afternoon, guests were free to make their own plans. However, at 7pm, the finale of the conference was held at St John’s Baptist. The Evangelist and Bishops prayed for the sick and shared the word with powerful manifestations.

All-in-all, we would say that we were very impressed with the organization of this huge conference. All activities and sessions started right on time and everything seemed to run according to plan. Kudos to the TWEM team and hope you (reading this) will save the date for the next conference.
