Shortly after Evangelist Teresia Wairimu had a life changing visitation, in which the Almighty God appeared to her. She heard the call of God in her life to started a house fellowship with 16 women who met once a month.  Every month the meetings grew exponentially. In  1989, Evangelist Wairimu started the ministry Faith Evangelistic Ministry.
